Urban Legends
Wondering if the stories you have heard are true or false. I ran across a cool website today that will help you figure that out. Check out www.snopes.com . They have catagorized all the urban legends then tell you if they are true or false and even give you the evidence to support the verdict. Some pretty funny stuff.
I am about done reading "In But Not Of". I am putting it down as a recommend but for the right person. If you know someone high school through mid-20's who is just beginning their career, it would be a very good read. It is fairly quick and easy to read due to the short chapters. Nice for people like me who have ADHD. It is written by Hugh Hewitt who was an aid to Nixon in the White House and also has a radio talkshow. It centers upon how a Christian can gain influence in the world while making wise choices to expand that influence on others. Good stuff that matches up well with "Max Q" by Andy Stanley.
